The film Habibie & Ainun cannot be forgotten. To commemorate the romance of the film, MD Pictures is preparing a continuation of the Rudy Habibie film which is currently in the production kitchen.

MD Pictures collaborates with director Hanung Bramantyo. Hanung holds full confidence in packaging the film into a spectacular big screen.

"This film tells of a flashback from the life of a Habibie," said Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of MD Corp Manoj Punjabi during a thanksgiving ceremony for the filming of Rudy Habibie at the MD Pictures Tower, Central Jakarta, Friday. 15/6).

As a producer of the film, Manoj is also directly involved in the process behind the scenes. He was deliberately involved intensively in order for the film to achieve maximum results.

Rudy Habibie will tell you about the figure of Prof. Dr. Ing. H. Bacharuddin Jusuf Habibie (BJ Habibie) started his childhood. Little Habibie's struggle until she moved to Bandung to gain knowledge.

Not stopping college, Habibie moved to Germany to complete his studies. Reza Rahadian is still an actor who plays the young Habibie.

About 70 percent of shooting was done in Germany and the rest in Indonesia. This is because Habibie experienced a life full of twists and turns while living in the country.

The manuscript was rewritten by Gina S. Noer who also wrote the Habibie & Ainun screenplay. "The author has known Pak Habibie for five years," continued Manoj.

From screenwriting to shooting, MD Pictures always involves the character BJ Habibie. The reason is, the character played by Reza is not an ordinary person. But an influential figure for Indonesia and the world. "I've been deepening the character since the first film," said Reza Rahadian.

In this second film, Reza gets a number of materials that must be studied. The shooting process has started. He hopes that this film can inspire young Indonesians to reach their future.

Habibie & Ainun, according to MD Pictures, was watched by 4.7 million film lovers. "Our film (Habibie & Ainun) is still one of the films produced in Indonesia with the largest audience to date," continued Manoj.

In Rudy Habibie's prequel, the target audience is estimated at seven to eight million people. Rudy Habibie will open in Indonesian theaters on Idul Fitri 2016.
